Welcome to the November 20, 2023 edition of Art Starts

NHSCA Grantees: Final reports are due on November 30, 2023 for FY2023 Arts for Community Engagement, Arts in Health, Traditional Arts Project, and Arts Conservation (Mooseplate) Grants
If you need an extension, you must contact the grant coordinator in writing before November 30, 2023.

Arts Council Rolling Deadline: Artist Rosters
NHSCA accepts applications from qualified artists working to be juried onto one of our three artist rosters: Arts in Health, Traditional Arts & Folklife, and Arts Education

Upcoming New England Foundation for the Arts Grant Deadlines:
December 1: New England States Touring (NEST) Grant
December 1: Jazz Road Tours Grant

ArtsHERE: New Grant Initiative from National Endowment for the Arts Now Accepting Statements of Interest
The National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with South Arts and in collaboration with the five other U.S. Regional Arts Organizations has launched ArtsHERE, a new grant program supporting organizations committed to equity and increasing arts access for underserved communities. The deadline to submit a Statement of Interest is January 19, 2024.

CELC Spring 2024 Registration Is Open
Cultural Equity Learning Community (CELC), a self-paced training open to arts and culture leaders committed to building intersectional racial equity. Registration is open now through January 19, 2024 for the Spring 2024 cohort which runs from February - August 2024.
